Practicing TaeKwon-Do improves heart health, aids in weight loss, increases flexibility, strengthens muscles and bones, and boosts aerobic fitness. Not only is TaeKwon-Do considered an excellent physical workout, but it’s also a great way of improving mental health too.

  • Patterns and sparring are a great cardio workout, as they raise the heart rate and core temperature.
  • Through body weight exercises, we build muscle and strength.  Examples of these types of exercises are push-ups, sit-ups, planks, squats, lunges, and burpees.
  • Through stretching in every class, we increase our flexibility, making us less susceptible to injury.
